Track And Accept Changes In Msword 2011 For Mac Apple Video
I'm editing a document with tracked changes. When I make an amendment to the document, I can right click and delete the original comment box, but when I right click the change, the accept or reject part is shaded out. Microsoft Word on Mac, The ONLY way to get rid of the track changes is; on the right-hand side of the document click onto the change, then a drop-down will appear, then choose delete changes. You have to sadly do this to all/ever highlighted change listed in the document.
Are you sure you are dealing with a Change? A Comment looks a bit the same, but you can't accept/reject them, only delete them. Also: a change is usually in two parts: you have to accept/reject one of them, then you sometimes need to re-select the change to get the other bit (insertion + deletion). I usually use 'Accept all changes in document' to ensure I get the lot. Adobe ovation for macron. Be sure you have turned change tracking OFF before you start accepting/rejecting, or things will get very confused. Hope this helps John McGhie, Microsoft MVP (Mac Word), Consultant Technical Writer. Hi John, Yes, it's definitely a change because it's me that's making them.
I just can't accept them when I've finished. It's really odd. I've never had this happen before. I've now switched on to another computer and using another version of Word (2007). Again, I can delete the comments left by my editor, but any changes I make to document can't be approved or rejected.
How Do You Change Track Changes In Ms Word
When I select Review in Word from the top, the part with Changes has reject and approve greyed out. When I bring up the reviewing pane it does show what I've done as insertions or deletions. It just won't let me approve them. Any suggestions?
